About Us
Our Founder
CINOTECH Group was founded in 2001 by Ir. Dr. Chan Hon-fai, who is a leading environmental scientist and engineer and a pioneer in environmental consultancy in Hong Kong with over 40 years of broad and extensive experience in environmental management and a fellow member of many professional institutions.
Dr Chan is also a recipient of a Bronze Bauhinia Star by the Hong Kong SAR Government in 2017 for his community services in water supply, environmental protection and innovation technology.
Dr Chan is especially credited for his heavy involvement in the lead-in-water investigation in 2015 and his role in enhancing the drinking water quality in Hong Kong between 2016-2017.
The Group Structure
The Group comprises four companies which were established at different stages of the group development to provide a broad range of environmental and building related services in response to the needs and aspirations of its clients as follows:
- CINOTECH Consultants Limited was established in Hong Kong in early 2002 as an environmental consultancy firm providing its clients with consultancy services in environmental management, environmental studies, environmental monitoring & audit and assessment/certification of green buildings.
- Cinotech Solutions Limited was established in Hong Kong in 2005 as an environmental technology company providing one-stop technical solutions to clients on energy management, pollution control engineering, water & wastewater treatment, building related measurements, contaminated soil remediation, with technical support from Unidata Pty Ltd. in Australia on special types of monitoring equipment.
- 廣州汉臻環保科技有限公司 was established in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province in 2003 which was replaced by 廣東漢臻環境保科技有限公司 in Zhongshan in 2018 to provide pollution control engineering and odour control solutions, with capabilities for manufacturing special types of deodorizing agents and bacterial groups for wastewater treatment use.
- 湖南漢臻環境保科技有限公司 was established in Huaihua, Hunan Province in 2017 to provide pollution control engineering, especially the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of industrial and municipal wastewater treatment for local clients.
